Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco (born Angela Maria Ani DiFranco) is a American and Canadian music producer and singer. Her albums span over 20 years. The music of DiFranco is classified as alternative, folk rock but also has influences from jazz and hip-hop. Widely considered a feminist icon Grammy award winner Ani DiFranco is considered to be the father of the DIY movement, and was among the first artists to create her own record label in the year 1990. DiFranco was born in Buffalo New York on September 23rd 1970.
